Union Home Minister Amit Shah is off on a two-day Karnataka tour. Amit Shah's visit is considered important before the assembly elections to be held in Karnataka next year. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Shah will also gift a 400-bed hospital at Sathya Sai village of Muddanahalli at around 2.20 pm. Shah will lay the foundation stone of the hospital. Shah will also attend the Karnataka State Cooperative Conference at Bangalore Palace at around 4 pm. Shah will also discuss with Chief Minister Bommai the expansion of the cabinet and the names of heads of boards and corporations.
