Bangladeshi leave the cattle on the Indian border

This area falls in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal bordering Bangladesh. The people of Nirmalchar village allege that Bangladeshi farmers deliberately release their cattle into our fields to damage the crops. They enter the Indian border illegally on the same pretext. Meanwhile, he stopped Bangladeshi farmers from coming to the Indian border. Within no time, more than 100 farmers from Bangladesh and the miscreants who entered among them entered the Indian border and attacked the jawans with sticks and sharp weapons. After that ran back. BSF has also registered an FIR at Ranitala police station.

There have been attacks on jawans in the past as well

A spokesperson of the South Bengal Frontier said that when smugglers and criminals do not get success in their illegal activities across the border, they attack the jawans. In the past too, the jawans have been attacked by miscreants and their accomplices, but the jawans do not allow them to succeed in their plans.

BSF-BGB meeting in Cooch Behar took place on 23 February itself

Commander-level meeting of BSF-BGB was held in Changarbandha on 23 February, 3 days before the attack. Issues related to cross-border crimes, illegal constructions, and infiltration of Bangladeshis were also discussed in this meeting.
