Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is spending most of his time in Tihar Jail meditating, reading books, and doing yoga. Jail sources gave this information on Thursday. Kejriwal, the first sitting Chief Minister to be lodged in Asia's largest jail, has been kept in a 14-foot long by eight-foot wide room located in General Ward No. 3 of Tihar Jail No. 2.
According to jail sources, Kejriwal reads books most of the day, does yoga, and meditates twice every day. An official source said, 'He does yoga and meditates for about one and a half hours every morning and evening.' He is often seen sitting on a chair in his cell, reading books and writing something.
A jail official said Kejriwal can also read books available in the library for prisoners. But he hasn't asked for any other books yet, he said. Sources said that the Chief Minister has been provided a TV with 20 channels in his room, but he is not very fond of watching it.
