Got the first film because of the turtle

Anushka Sharma started her career with Yash Raj Productions' film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'. Her first movie was with Shah Rukh Khan. First, she got the film under the banner of Yash Raj, then the hero was also Shah Rukh Khan, this was the icing on the cake for Anushka.


 

Anushka had told in Kapil's show that it was her mother Ashima Sharma's wish that her debut film should be either with Karan Johar or Chopra Productions. For this, Anushka's mother used to put a chit in the Feng Shui tortoise. When Anushka got her first film, her mother showed her a chit and told her that it was her wish that her daughter's film should be from Karan Johar or Yash Raj Productions.
