Before the finale, who can tell better than their family about which contestant is playing a tough game in the Bigg Boss house? This week, Salman Khan's show is going to be marked as Family Week, where one by one, the family members of the contestants are entering the show.

While Ashnoor Kaur's father, Gurmeet Singh, lightened the atmosphere by being the first to enter the Bigg Boss house, some people on social media were also upset with his behavior towards Tanya Mittal and Shahbaz. However, people's anger erupted when an episode showed Gurmeet Singh advising his daughter Ashnoor to take advantage of Tanya Mittal's body-shaming comments. Ashnoor's father, who has been facing constant trolling for his statement, has now blamed the entire situation on the Bigg Boss makers.

My words have been misinterpreted.

Ashnoor's father issued a statement on his official Instagram story, writing, "After yesterday's episode, I've seen some videos claiming I advised her to take advantage of Tanya's 'body-shaming' comments. I want to clarify that this is absolutely not true and my words have been completely misinterpreted."

He further wrote, "When Ashnoor asked me about forgiving Tanya, it had nothing to do with Tanya's body-shaming comments. It was a light and fun moment, which was not shown in the episode. What I said was edited to combine two different things. This is unfair to everyone involved in the conversation.

Don't be fooled by a clip.

Continuing his point, Gurmeet Singh wrote, "When I cooked food at home, it was from my heart for everyone. Everyone was sitting together and eating at the table. That single moment alone sums up the bond I had with everyone in the house and the vibe there. There was no negativity, only good energy and respect."

Concluding his statement, Ashnoor's father wrote, "I would like to request all of you not to be fooled by a clip that has set a forced narrative. I went into that house to encourage Ashnoor, not to belittle anyone. I am celebrating every memory I shared with the contestants, whether shown or not. I also left on a positive note. I would like to wish everyone all the best for the game ahead."
