A surprising incident unfolded during the ILT20 final played at the Dubai International Stadium, leaving everyone stunned.

During the final match, a heated argument erupted between Desert Vipers' Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah and MI Emirates captain Kieron Pollard on the field, escalating the tension in the title clash. A video of this high-voltage drama is rapidly going viral on social media.

ILT20 Final: When Pollard and Naseem Shah clashed

The incident occurred during the 11th over of MI Emirates' innings. When Naseem Shah bowled the last ball of the over, Pollard, standing at the non-striker's end, said something to Naseem. Naseem immediately retorted, leading to a heated exchange. The verbal spat between the two players was so intense that the on-field umpires had to intervene to calm things down.

Naseem responded with the ball.

The dispute didn't end there. When Naseem came to bowl his next spell, Pollard was again seen trying to provoke him. But this time, Naseem Shah responded with the ball.

On the very first ball of the 17th over, Naseem trapped Pollard. Attempting a big shot, Pollard was caught by Sanjay Pahal. Pollard was dismissed after scoring 28 runs off 28 balls. Naseem's reaction after taking the wicket was worth watching.

MI Emirates' humiliating defeat

Captain Kieron Pollard won the toss and elected to bowl first, but his decision did not work in his team's favor. The Desert Vipers, captained by Sam Curran, posted a score of 182 runs. Sam Curran top-scored for his team with an unbeaten 74 runs.

In reply, the MI Emirates team failed to cope with the pressure and were bowled out for 136 runs in 18.3 overs. Thus, the Desert Vipers team won the final match by 46 runs.
