Central government's 'Self-reliant India App Innovation Challenge', create a very useful and easy app for users

New Delhi: Emphasis has been laid on the use and manufacture of indigenous products and services in the country since the changed circumstances due to Corona and the border dispute with China. To make the country self-reliant in the IT sector, the Central Government has started a challenge that will give the youth present across the country an opportunity to show their talent. The central government has launched the 'AatmaNirbhar Bharat App Innovation Challenge', which can make many types of mobile apps in the country itself and they are very useful and easy for the general public.

 

 

What is this app challenge?

 

 

The central government has set two goals under this challenge - first, to promote the best among the existing Indian apps; Second, to create a new app in certain categories so that not only the needs of the countrymen are fulfilled, but those apps can also be used abroad.

 

 

Under this challenge being run by the Ministry of Electronics and IT of the Central Government, a target has been set to create a new app in these 8 categories-

 

 

Social Networking- American companies are Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, the largest social networking platforms in the world. At the same time, China had made its platforms instead. The goal of the central government is to build such indigenous social networking platforms so that people can connect.

 

 

E-learning - In the era of the Corona crisis, online learning was stressed because the schools were closed. But the government goes even further to create an e-learning app, which helps give education to the far-flung areas of the country and the students deprived of the burden of expensive education.

 

 

Entertainment - Applications like YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime are dominated all over the world. There are already some Indian apps in this sector to compete with them. Only one of these is the best or apart from these, a good app, which can give entertainment to the general public easily.

 

 

Health - An app through which you can get basic information related to diseases and medicines. Also, doctors can promote contact telemedicine.

 

 

Agritech and Fintech - applications that can inform farmers about new and improved technologies related to agriculture. At the same time, financial solutions could be easily extended to the general public.

 

 

News: Such an application of news, which can provide better news from the country and the world to every user according to his need and his choice.

 

 

Games- The market of gaming is growing very fast in the world. Mobile gaming in particular has played a big role in this field. Different types of games like these, which can replace the foreign games already present in the market.

 

 

Office Productivity and Work from Home - In the coming times, many office work from home culture can be promoted. It has also been seen during lockdown that all this is possible. In such a situation, apps like video conferencing, mail, presentation that help Indians work easily from home.

To attract more and more Indian minds towards this, the Central Government has announced the prize along with the App Challenge. These prizes range from 2 lakh rupees to 20 lakh rupees according to different categories.
