Why did the weather change

 

The reason for the sudden change in weather is believed to be Western Disturbance. According to Skymet Weather, the Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan and adjoining parts of Jammu and Kashmir. A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Northeast Rajasthan and adjoining areas. A trough is extending from Northeast Rajasthan to Meghalaya across East Assam, Bihar, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Rayalaseema.

 

It may rain in these districts of UP today

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with isolated thunderstorms in Uttar Pradesh on May 23 in Siddharthnagar, Sant Kabir, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur and Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Shamli and Muzaffarnagar. It has been cloudy in many districts since morning. In some places, there was light rain with a strong wind in the morning.

According to the Meteorological Department, today Bihar's East Champaran, Darbhanga, West Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Vaishali, Samastipur, Madhubani, Supaul, Madhepura, Araria, Saharsa, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur and Banka intensified. There is a chance of rain with thunderstorms.

 

Heavy rain in Uttarakhand

 

It rained heavily at many places in Uttarakhand this morning. At the same time, the snowfall on the peaks of Yamunotri Dham is getting cold. On the other hand, light rain is continuing in Srinagar and adjoining areas since night. In New Tehri and adjoining areas too, the weather has become cooler due to the torrential rains since last night. The weather has become pleasant due to the rain. At the same time, the fire in the forests has also subsided.

 

Estimate of rain with a strong wind in these districts of Madhya Pradesh

 

According to the meteorologist, there is a forecast of drizzle from today in the Gwalior, Chambal, Rewa, Sagar, Shahdol, and Jabalpur divisions of Madhya Pradesh. Pre-monsoon showers are likely to occur in Bhopal, Ujjain Indore, and Narmadapuram divisions in two-three days. In Bhopal, there is a possibility of wind speed reaching 44 km per hour.

 

Chance of rain with a strong thunderstorm in Rajasthan

 

In many districts of Rajasthan, there is a possibility of rain with strong thunderstorms in the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum impact of the new Western Disturbance in Rajasthan is Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bundi, Bara, Dholpur, Dausa, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Kota, Churu, Nagaur, Sri Ganganagar, Pali, Bikaner, and Jodhpur. There are some states of the country where the flood-like situation has arisen due to rain. These states include Assam, Karnataka, Kerala, Meghalaya, and Manipur. Due to heavy rains in these states, waterlogging has occurred in many places. People are finding it difficult to get out of the house. Kerala and Karnataka are receiving torrential rains due to strong cyclonic winds blowing from the Arabian Sea.

 

Monsoon may reach Kerala next week

 

The IMD said that the southwest monsoon is expected to reach Kerala early next week. According to the department, light to moderate rain may occur over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam-Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura during the next two days.
