Children's Day 2022: Children's Day in India is celebrated every year on 14 November. Children are the future of the country and it should be ensured that they get the right kind of education and healthy childhood. Children's Day creates awareness of the importance of access to proper education for children all over the world. This day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of the country, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It was stated by the United Nations that 20 November was initially celebrated as Universal Children's Day, but in 1964 Jawaharlal Nehru died and the Indian Parliament adopted a resolution designating the date of birth of the first Prime Minister as Children's Day. Proposal issued.
