Based on this, on the intervening night of 12 and 13 June, the Doga Nar area of the Machil sector was cordoned off by Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army personnel.

At the same time, at around one o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the soldiers were seen in the area, two terrorists armed with weapons were trying to infiltrate on this side of the LoC. During this, they were challenged by the teams that had already put up a front. In response to this, the intruders started firing. The security forces killed both terrorists in retaliatory action.
