Partition Horror Remembrance Day: PM Modi remembered the victims, said- this is a day to pay tribute to the courage of the people

Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered those who were affected during Partition on the occasion of Partition Horror Remembrance Day a day before Independence Day. He said that today is a day to pay tribute to the courage of those affected by Partition. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to those affected during Partition in 1947. During this, Shah said that a nation that remembers its history can emerge as a powerful country along with creating its future.

 

PM Modi posted on social media platform X, saying, "On Partition Horror Remembrance Day, we remember those who were affected during Partition. It is also a day to pay tribute to their courage. Many people were affected during Partition, they had to start their lives again. Today we reiterate our commitment to protect the bonds of unity and brotherhood in our nation."

 

Amit Shah remembered those affected by Partition

 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also posted on X on the occasion of Partition Horror Remembrance Day. He said, "On Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, my tribute to the millions of people who suffered inhuman suffering during Partition. Many people lost their lives and many became homeless." He further said, "A nation that remembers its history can create its future and emerge as a powerful country. Celebrating this day under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a fundamental exercise in the process of nation-building."

 

Modi government is celebrating Partition Horrors Remembrance Day since 2021

 

Let us tell you that since 2021, the Modi government has been celebrating 14 August as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. On this day, those people are remembered who lost their lives during Partition. On this day, after the partition of India by British colonial rule, Pakistan was created as a Muslim country and India gained independence on 15 August.
