Corona Virus: First to 8th class examinations canceled in Maharashtra, students will be promoted in the next class without exam

New Delhi: The number of corona virus-infected patients is once again increasing in the country. At the same time, Maharashtra has the highest number of cases of coronavirus in the country. Keeping this in mind, many important steps are also being taken by the Government of Maharashtra. Meanwhile, the state government has decided to cancel the class 1 to 8 exam.

 

 

Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad today announced the decision to cancel the exams of students of 1st to 8th standard in the state. In a short recorded message, Gaikwad has announced that all the students of Maharashtra State from class 1 to 8 will be promoted to the next class without any examination.

 

 

More than 45 thousand new corona patients are coming to the state every day. Because of this situation, he said that a decision has been taken because of the current Covid-19 situation in the state. Along with this, he says that soon a decision will be taken regarding the students of class 9th and 11th.

Let us know that more than 29 lakh coronavirus patients have been confirmed so far in Maharashtra. At the same time, more than 55 thousand people have lost their lives due to corona in the state. Apart from this, there are about 4 lakh active coronavirus patients in the state.
