Controversy has erupted over a video of the world-famous Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama. A video of the Dalai Lama is going viral on social media in which he is seen kissing a child on the lips. At the same time, after this video went viral, people are giving sharp reactions.

It can be seen in the viral video that the child bows down to pay respect to the spiritual teacher, then the Dalai Lama kisses the child's lips and then the Dalai Lama sticks out his tongue and asks the child to touch it. The Dalai Lama is heard asking the boy, "Can you touch my tongue?"

According to media reports, the Dalai Lama had gone to Chandigarh to participate in a Buddhist program where he kissed a child, after which his video has gone viral on social media. A user Deepika Pushkar Nath wrote on social media that this is indecent and no one should justify this behavior of the Dalai Lama. While reacting strongly to the video, another Twitter user Jas Oberoi demanded the arrest of the Dalai Lama. Also, wrote what am I looking at? Is this the Dalai Lama? This is disgusting enough.

Dalai Lama has come into controversies many times before

This is not the first time that the Dalai Lama has found himself in a controversy. Earlier in 2019, he had created a huge controversy by saying that if his successor was to be a woman, she should be attractive. He was criticized worldwide for the remark, which was made in an interview with the British broadcaster broadcast from the exile of the Nobel Peace Prize winner in Dharamsala in 2019. He later apologized for his controversial comments.
