Harshit Srivastava alias Lala is the District Minister of BJP Yuva Morcha and has been the President of DAV College in the past. He had posted a tweet from his Twitter account on his Facebook post, in which objectionable posts were posted against a particular religion. As soon as the matter came to the notice, the police became active. Immediately a case was registered against it under sections 153A (spreading hatred in the name of religion or caste), 295A (inciting religious feelings), 507, and 67 IT Act of IPC. Police Commissioner Vijay Singh Meena has appealed to the people not to do any such work, which spoils the atmosphere of the city.
