Gautam Adani: Development of business in the interest of the nation is our commitment, know what Adani said about the wealth ranking?

World's third richest person Gautam Adani has said that it is our commitment to developing business in the interest of the nation. I am determined to use every opportunity to build world-class infrastructure and facilities for India and Indians. He said that Adani Group is walking step by step as a driver of India's progress.

Gautam Adani said that the growth of the Adani Group has been truly amazing. In less than a decade, we have grown to become India's largest power sector, port operator, airport operator, consumer gas business, and electric transmission company, as well as the largest infrastructure developer in renewable energy.

Adani Group has become the second-largest cement producer in the country this year. The group is rapidly diversifying into sectors including aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, telecom, data centers, and logistics, among others. Gautam Adani has become the richest Indian with a personal fortune of $150 billion, surpassing Reliance's Mukesh Ambani and other heavyweights.

Talking to a TV channel, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said that this year we brought a successful Adani Wilmar IPO, and thus, Adani Wilmar became the seventh listed company of the group.

Adani Group chief said that we have created a business model where we start a business from zero, make it profitable, and then take it public. This IPO was another example of this. We also became India's second-largest cement maker when we acquired ACC and Ambuja Cements for approximately $10.5 billion. This is the biggest acquisition.

During the interaction, Adani Group said that much more satisfying and important than being in the wealth ranking or valuation list is to make a difference in the lives of people and to have the opportunity to create the capacity to contribute to the development and building of the nation. I am thankful to God that he has given me a great opportunity to serve the nation by building infrastructure.
