Controversy is continuously increasing over the alleged controversial statement given by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's son Udhayanidhi Stalin regarding Sanatan Dharma. Many people including BJP leaders are registering their protest. Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi has clarified. He on Thursday accused the saffron party leaders of distorting his statements and vowed to face all cases in this regard legally.
He also made a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Said that he is roaming around the world afraid of facing questions about Manipur violence. He said that all your (BJP) promises for the last nine years are hollow. The Tamil Nadu minister said that at present the entire country is united against the BJP government and is raising the question, what has it done for our welfare?
Udhayanidhi said that Modi and Company are using Sanatan tricks to divert attention. BJP leaders termed my speech at the TNPWAA conference as 'inciting genocide'. They consider it a weapon for their protection.
The minister said that it was surprising that Union Minister Amit Shah and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states were demanding action against me based on fake news. He said that he knew that I should file criminal cases against him for spreading false rumors against me. But I also know that this is their way of staying in power. They don't know in what other way it can be saved. So I decided not to do it.
Udhayanidhi Stalin, one of the political heirs of late Tamil Nadu veteran leader and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party founder Kanjeevaram Natarajan Annadurai, said everyone knows that we are not enemies of any religion.
