The Indian healthcare industry ranks second in the world in terms of cyber attacks. America ranks first. According to a report released on Tuesday by cyber security firm CloudSec, the country accounted for 7.7 percent of the total cyber attacks on the healthcare industry worldwide in 2021.

India's healthcare industry was hit by over 71 lakh cyber attacks in 2021. Thus, India ranked second in the world with a 7.7 percent share.
