The 29-year-old American actor David Corenswet will be seen playing the character of Man of Steel in the upcoming films.

Yesterday, DC Universe announced who will play Superman and Lois Lane in the upcoming film 'Superman: Legacy'. While David Corenswet has been roped in to play Superman in the upcoming DC Universe film, Rachel Brosnahan has been signed on to play Lois Lane. The announcement comes after two weeks of auditions.

David Corenswet started his career with short films. The actor was then seen playing lead roles in TV shows like 'Elementary' and 'House of Cards'. However, the actor got recognition for playing an important role in the show 'The Politician on Netflix in the year 2019-20. David Corenswet has also played small roles in the films 'Look Both Ways' and 'Pearl' released in the year 2022. From this point of view, becoming Superman for David Corenswet is the biggest achievement of his career so far.
David Corenswet looks like Henry Cavill?
Several actors have played Superman on screen over the years, but the last one was Henry Cavill. Henry has played this role in many films of the DC Extended Universe, including 'Man of Steel' released in 2013.
