New Delhi
Corona Lockdown 4.0 is over now. The central government has also ordered the opening of the state boundaries. But the Uttar Pradesh administration has decided to keep the borders of Ghaziabad and Noida sealed for the time being. Due to this, on the first day of Unlock 1.0, the road leading to DND's Noida got jammed on Monday. A similar view was found in Gurgaon and Faridabad.
This jam was caused by this confusion that people thought that the lockdown was over on May 31. In such a situation, they can go to Noida or beyond. But the Noida administration has not opened the boundaries yet. Today the pass is being checked at the border. Along with this, the number of passengers sitting in the car is also being monitored.
Noida border still sealed
Unlock-1 starts from today after the lockdown-4 is over, but the Delhi border will remain locked. According to the guidelines of the district administration, no concession has been given to the public coming to Delhi border. The status quo will remain here as before. Only people with e-passes will be able to come. The district administration argues that 42 percent of the corona cases in Noida have increased due to Delhi, so the border will be closed as before. Explain that the government has said in its guidelines that the arrival of people from Delhi's Containment Zone will be restricted for Noida-Ghaziabad but the district administration can take the decision to ban or open the border for other traffic. The district administration also made it clear late in the evening that the borders would not be unlocked yet.
Full staff can now work in all government offices. For this, the government has allowed three shifts to work with a gap of a few hours. All the staff in the government offices of Noida comes from Delhi and from the Noida in the government offices of Delhi. Due to this, this morning can be seen more than ever at office time.
Under lockdown-4, the district administration has spent the entire time for opening or not opening the Delhi border, saying that guidelines have been sought from the government on this issue. At the same time, the government has given the authority to decide on this issue. Thousands of people are getting harassed on the Delhi border in the morning everyday. Despite this, the district administration has not given any concession in this matter.
Haryana Police is also checking the entry pass on the Delhi-Badarpur border, due to which traffic is disrupted.
Order to open border in Haryana, but the situation remains the same
Late on Sunday, the government has decided to open all the borders of Haryana (also Gurgaon and Faridabad). Now anyone can travel unopposed from Gurgaon to Delhi or other areas. In such a situation, people coming to Gurgaon jobs can get a big relief, but DC Amit Khatri has refused the government's order to open the border. He says that guidelines have not come yet. In this case, the old orders will remain effective. The border can open as soon as the guidelines come. At the moment entry is taking place from nearby. Because of this, there was a jam on Monday.
