Afreen Fatima, the elder daughter of the main accused of Prayagraj violence Javed Mohammad alias Javed Pump, is an alumnus of JNU. He is deeply involved in controversies. Sharjeel Imam is close

 

Afreen is said to be close to Sharjeel Imam, the mastermind of the Shaheen Bagh conspiracy. She did her post-graduation (MA) from JNU's Center for Linguistics and left the university in 2021. According to the information, Afreen passed high school and intermediate from St. Mary's Convent School in Prayagraj. He had enrolled in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for his graduation (BA). He did BA Honors and MA in Linguistics from AMU.

 

Active in student politics

 

While being the President of Women's College at AMU, she has been active in student politics there. After AMU, he took admitted to JNU. In 2019, he actively participated in the movement against CAA and NRC in Delhi. Police say that she is close to Sharjeel Imam, the mastermind of the Shaheen Bagh conspiracy. Afzal Guru was also declared innocent by him and was hanged after being convicted of a Parliament attack in 2001.

 

Has tried to provoke the crowd

 

In a 45-second video posted on Twitter on January 25, 2020, Fatima tried to instigate the crowd. Opposing CAA and NRC, he said that he has realized that neither the government nor the Supreme Court is worthy of the trust of Muslims.

Fatima was also very vocal about the hijab issue. During his stay in JNU, he visited many cities in South India regarding this matter. During this time he took part in the protests. It is being told that on January 22 this year, she had also participated in the dharna of Muslim women in Prayagraj. Fatima had raised questions on the Supreme Court in the dharna organized in Mansoor Park. A controversial statement was also given regarding the hanging of Afzal Guru.
