Demand for ceasefire in Gaza: Jewish activists protest by entering US Parliament, detained by police

"We are being arrested, but we will not leave until we get assurances regarding a ceasefire and an end to the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza," the Jewish organization said in a post on Twitter. The organization said that for the last 75 years, the Israeli government has been illegally occupying Palestinian land and Palestinian communities are being wiped out. Now, genocide is being carried out in Gaza with the full support of America.

According to The Times of Israel, hundreds of protesters took to the streets throughout the West Bank. To control the crowd, Palestinian forces in Ramallah fired tear gas at the protesters. The protesters were demanding the resignation of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

 

Increase in anti-Semitic incidents in Germany
