It is said that the childhood of Diljit Dosanjh, born in the year 1984, was full of complications. His father Balbir Singh was a bus driver in Punjab Roadways and was very fond of playing hockey. Diljit was fond of music since childhood, although his father probably did not like it. Balbir Singh sent his son to his brother to study and Diljit did not like this. Recently, in an interview, Diljit also revealed that due to this, there was tension in the relationship between father and son.

 

Diljit Dosanjh's music career started in Ludhiana. Punjabi music has been thriving in this city for a long time. He became associated with a company here about 24 years ago. It is said that at that time Diljit was not old enough for anyone to believe his words or the music he composed. But, singer-composer Balveer Boparai liked his singing, his music, and his way of presenting himself. Diljit was 16 years old when his first album was released. And, within the next year, his music had spread to every corner of Punjab.

 

The report says that Diljit Dosanjh's first album became such a hit that people started calling him to give stage performances at weddings. It was these stage performances that took Diljit's career to great heights and even after becoming a superstar, he has not left this status. Recently, Diljit was also seen performing on stage at the pre-wedding function of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Diljit Dosanjh, who started taking Rs 50 thousand for a show even before becoming an adult, according to reports, these days takes Rs 4 to 5 crore from a show.
