In the meeting with cinema stars, the Chief Minister has assured full support to the Telugu film industry. Talking about the stampede in Sandhya Theater, he said that the stars should also take the responsibility of controlling their fans. He says that no kind of compromise can be made with the legal system.

After being produced in the lower court, he was sent to judicial custody. However, the High Court granted relief to the Pushpa 2 actor and granted him bail.
