Took a dig at Bollywood celebrities
Diljit also addressed the ongoing controversy by making it clear that Bollywood has many songs about alcohol, but only a few of his tracks reference it. He also took a dig at Bollywood celebrities and revealed that he does not endorse or advertise alcohol.
Diljit said this
During his recent concert in Ahmedabad, he declared, "Even today I will not sing any song on alcohol. This is because Gujarat is a prohibition state." He said that if all the states ban alcohol, he will stop singing songs about alcohol."
