Asia Cup 2025: 'Naqvi has been shown his place, ' the BJP explains why the Indian team did not win the Asia Cup trophy.

After defeating Pakistan in the final match of the Asia Cup on Sunday and winning the tournament, the Indian cricket team refused to accept the trophy and medals. In this way, the Indian cricketers exposed Pakistan to the world.

BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya reacted to the Indian team's remarkable decision. In a post on the social media platform X, Amit Malviya said, "This is New India." This post is like rubbing salt into Pakistan's wounds.

"Naqvi showed his place."

In his post, Amit Malviya wrote that India refused to accept the Asia Cup and medals because Asian Cricket Council President Mohsin Naqvi was adamant on presenting the award.

He (Mohsin Naqvi) is also the PCB chief and Pakistan's Interior Minister. "We not only defeated Pakistan on the field, but also showed Naqvi his place, who is the main propagandist of the terrorist country Pakistan. This is New India."

The Indian team refused to accept the trophy.

It's worth noting that after the match ended, when it was time to present the medals and awards, the broadcast was abruptly cut off. Presenter Simon Doull finally read a statement from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), stating that the Indian team would not accept awards during the ceremony.

In the Asia Cup final, Pakistan batted first. Pakistan set India a target of 147 runs. The Indian cricketers easily achieved this modest target, winning the match by 5 wickets. Following India's victory, numerous pictures of celebrations have emerged from across the country.
