Sarwan Singh Pandher, general secretary of Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Samiti, on Wednesday, requested the central government to discuss their issues or allow the farmers to march to Delhi peacefully.

According to agency ANI, Sarwan Singh Pandher while addressing the press personnel at Shambhu border said that we are saying that it is also the responsibility of the Prime Minister to listen to us. We have also voted to make him the PM of the country. This country belongs to everyone, PM belongs to everyone. They should come forward and handle the situation and fulfill our demands.
One and a half or two lakh crores is not a big amount
He said that we tried our best, participated in meetings, and talked about every issue. Now the decision has to be taken by the Centre. The Prime Minister should come forward and accept our demands. One and a half or two lakh crore rupees is not a huge amount. About 60 percent of farmers depend on this amount.

He urged the Prime Minister to end this 'impasse' and allow the farmers to protest democratically. He said Prime Minister, it is your responsibility to protect the Constitution, you protect the Constitution, please open this gate and allow us to protest peacefully.
Pandher said that we further urged the Prime Minister to take a decision on the MSP guarantee law and calm the situation. We request the Central Government with folded hands to come, sit with us, and resolve our issues. All our demands have been discussed one by one and now it is time to take a decision. The farmer leader criticized the Centre's way of handling the protest by using paramilitary forces.
Holi will be celebrated with the blood of farmers and laborers: Pandher
Pandher said that as we are seeing, we will remain peaceful from our side, but Holi will be made with the blood of farmers and laborers through paramilitary forces. On the other side, there are soldiers and on this side there are farmers, they are also families. Therefore, we do not want anything to happen which shows sad pictures to the country. Therefore, we will not launch any attack from our side.

Addressing the press conference, farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal said it was not right to complain about the central government not getting enough time as protests had been called for in November last year accusing it of ignoring farmers.
He said that we had given a call for protests on November 7 and from then till today, if the government says that they do not have enough time, then I think it is the policy of the government to ignore us.
