The farmers who set out to march to Delhi demanding 12 demands including a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) of crops and loan waiver are adamant about the ordinance. In the fourth round of talks with the government that started at around 8.15 pm in Chandigarh on Sunday, farmer organizations have made it clear that the Center should bring an ordinance for the legal guarantee of MSP. He will not accept anything less than this.

On the other hand, in the meeting of farmer leaders, Khaps, and other organizations of Haryana held at Brahmasarovar in Kurukshetra, it has been decided that if the talks between the farmer organizations of Punjab with the Union Ministers are unsuccessful, then the farmer organizations and Khap Panchayats of Haryana will join the movement.
