Arvind Kejriwal: 'When there was water on TV in jail...', Kejriwal sent a message from Tihar; said this about the Haryana government

Accusing Haryana of not giving Delhi its share of water, Delhi's Water Minister Atishi started an indefinite fast at Bhogal in Jangpura. Before this, she went to the Chief Minister's residence and met Sunita Kejriwal. After that, she went to Rajghat with her and paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

At the fasting site, Sunita Kejriwal said, the Chief Minister got bail. The lower court's order has not even been uploaded on the website and the ED has gone to the High Court. It seems that Kejriwal is the biggest terrorist. Dictatorship has increased so much that even the Chief Minister is not being given legal rights. She read out the message of the Chief Minister sent from jail.

Kejriwal said in his message, that there is severe heat in the whole country. The temperature is reaching 50 degrees. Perhaps there has not been such heat in a hundred years. The heat cannot be reduced, but everyone should work together in difficult times. In our culture, we give water to thirsty people in summer. Delhi gets water from neighboring states. People's thirst is quenched by that.

In this heat, we feel more thirsty, so we need more water. It was expected that we would get more support from neighboring states in difficult times. In this difficult time, neighboring state Haryana reduced Delhi's water supply even more. We may be living in any part of the country but we should help each other. Delhi and Haryana indeed have governments of different parties, but should there be politics on this?

In difficult times, the whole country comes forward to help. This is the reason we are one country, but the Haryana government is not affected by this. Atishi is doing Satyagraha to appeal to the Haryana government with full humility. She will fast for an indefinite period. She will not eat anything, and will only consume water. This is a tough penance. She is doing this only for the people of Delhi. When I see the problems of Delhiites for water on TV in jail, I feel pain. I hope Atishi's penance will be successful.

MP Sanjay Singh said, there is cruelty in BJP and its government. They are making the people of Delhi yearn for every drop of water. There is a system in the country where water goes from one state to another. It has been decided which state will get how much water from which river. Delhi's water comes from Haryana.

Haryana gets water from Punjab. There is an AAP government in Delhi and Punjab. There is a BJP government in Haryana. Bhagwant Mann's government in Punjab does not stop Haryana's water. The water meant for Haryana is being given from Punjab, but the Haryana government is not giving Delhi its share of water.
