Jyoti Malhotra: Jyoti's remand was extended by four days, police gave this argument in court; The Investigation of the Pak connection continues.

After presenting Haryana's YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra in court on charges of spying for Pakistan, her remand has been extended by four days. Hisar police brought her to court on Thursday at 9:30 am. The debate on her remand went on for about one and a half hours. After which Hisar police got her remand for another 4 days. During this time, no officer spoke to the media. Even at the time of appearance, Jyoti's father Harish Malhotra was not allowed to meet her. Jyoti was arrested on May 16.

 

At the same time, National Investigation Agency (NIA), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Military Intelligence have interrogated Jyoti Malhotra for three days during police remand. In this, all the agencies have prepared their report by collecting facts in their own way. On Wednesday, no central investigation agency arrived for interrogation. On this, Civil Thana Police questioned Jyoti in Central Jail.

Investigating officer Inspector Nirmala obtained information from Jyoti about making videos on YouTube and her three visits to Pakistan. Jyoti was also questioned about the video made after the Pahalgam incident. The police prepared the entire story of Jyoti Malhotra during her remand and presented it in the court on Thursday.

 

Jyoti has not yet got a lawyer.

 

No lawyer has been appointed on behalf of Jyoti to fight the case. Jyoti's father Harish Malhotra said that I do not have money to hire a lawyer. I do not know how to hire a lawyer. He said that for the last five days no one is coming to my house except the media and the police. Neighbors and relatives have kept their distance.
