He has shared a press release in which it has been told that this Indian delegation going to Afghanistan is headed by JP Singh who is joint secretary of PAI (Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran) and will oversee the transfer of humanitarian aid.
Indian diplomats to meet Taliban leaders
Indian diplomats will also meet Taliban leaders. During this, the team will meet representatives of international organizations that are involved in the distribution of humanitarian aid. Simultaneously, the team will visit places where Indian programs/projects are being implemented. Several shipments of humanitarian aid have already been sent from India, including 20 lakh metric tonnes of wheat, 13 tonnes of medicines, 5 lakh doses of corona vaccine, and cold clothing. This consignment of supplies has been handed over to the Children's Hospital of Kabul and UN agencies including WHO and WFP. Further consignments of food grains and medical assistance will be sent to Afghanistan.
