Alert in UP: High alert in Lucknow after an uproar in Kanpur, vigil across the state regarding Friday prayers

After the uproar in Kanpur, there is a high alert across the state. The DGP Headquarters has given instructions to be vigilant in the entire state regarding Friday prayers. ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that those who spoil the environment have been asked to deal strictly with them. He said that the police are also talking to religious leaders and keeping an eye on the anarchists. Immediate action will be taken against any wrongdoing.

 

Tight security arrangements will be in place during Friday prayers in Lucknow. Under this, JCP Law and Order conducted a foot march with police officers in Old Lucknow on Thursday. During this, he visited sensitive areas and checked the security arrangements.

 

DCP West Somen Burma said that police personnel have been prepared for security. Anarchy is being monitored. Strict action will be taken against those posting inflammatory posts on internet media. On Thursday, the police conducted investigations at different places through drone cameras. During this, the roofs of the houses were also inspected with the help of cameras.

 

During this, bricks and debris were found on the roofs of eight houses. The police have given notices to those landlords and sought answers from them. Security personnel has been deployed around 550 mosques in the city. On Thursday, the police held a meeting with the religious leaders in different police stations. The old city is divided into 37 sectors.

 

Apart from this, 61 sensitive places have been identified. The DCP said that strict action would be taken against those trying to disturb the atmosphere. At the same time, two people have been arrested by the police in Bahraich and Hardoi, thwarting the conspiracy to spoil the atmosphere by posting provocative posts on the Internet media.
