BPSC Paper Leak: So far 14 arrested in BPSC paper leak, Varun Gandhi said - sack the commission chairman

BPSC Paper Leak Case: A big update has come in the paper leak case of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) 67th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination. Where on the one hand, Bihar EOU (EOU), which is probing the case, has arrested three more accused related to the paper leak case. On the other hand, BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh, Varun Gandhi has demanded a fresh inquiry by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar regarding the BPSC paper leak and sacking of the chairman of the commission.

 

 

Three criminals arrested from Delhi, 14 arrested so far

 

The recent action by Bihar EOU was done in Delhi where the team arrested three accused. Out of the three criminals arrested by the Economic Offenses Unit from Delhi, two youths are from Madhubani in Bihar, while the fellow accused is from Uttar Pradesh. A total of 14 accused have been arrested in the case including them.

 

Last month, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) canceled the exam for Civil Services (Preliminary) after a massive uproar following allegations of question paper leak. Minutes before the commencement of the examination in the afternoon, screenshots of a set of question papers went viral on social media. Bihar Police also claimed to have busted an organized crime gang behind the paper leak.

 

Varun Gandhi said – the hard work of lakhs of students went in vain

 

Expressing concern over the leak of the Bihar State Civil Services exam paper, BJP MP Varun Gandhi on Tuesday wrote to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. MP Gandhi urged CM Nitish to sack the chairman of BPSC and conduct a fresh inquiry for immediate action. He said that because the future of six lakh students hangs. In a strongly worded letter to the Chief Minister, the BJP MP said that the hard work of lakhs of students has gone waste due to a corrupt system and officials, which has taken a toll on their morale.
