Sachin Thapan, the mastermind of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case, has been arrested in Azerbaijan. At the same time, there is news of gangster Lawrence's brother Anmol reaching Kenya from Canada.
Both of them had fled India on fake passports before the murder of Moosewala. Soon after knowing this, the Punjab Police along with the Ministry of External Affairs started the process of bringing Sachin to India. On the other hand, the Punjab Police has sought their criminal history from the Ministry of External Affairs.
Sachin caught in fake passport case
According to sources, Sachin was caught about a month ago in the fake passport case. This information was given to the Ministry of External Affairs a few days ago. Now the Ministry of External Affairs has sought Sachin's complete criminal record from the Punjab Police. A report has also been sought about Sachin's role in the Moosewala case. Sachin can be brought to India from Azerbaijan soon.
Anmol first ran to Canada, then to Kenya
According to sources, Anmol and Sachin went to Azerbaijan via Nepal. After this Anmol went to Canada. But Sachin was arrested in the fake passport case. On getting information about this, Anmol fled from Canada to Kenya.
Lawrence was sent out of India before being murdered
The Punjab Police investigation revealed that Sachin Thapan and Anmol, along with Lawrence and Goldie Brar, are also the masterminds of the Moosewala murder case. Before killing Moosewala, Lawrence got him fake passports made and sent him out. After this, Moosewala was assassinated on 29 May. Sachin Thapan later claimed responsibility for the murder by calling a TV channel.
