The government has changed the timing of the opening of markets and shopping malls while relaxing the restrictions and has not given any relaxation on other restrictions.
Ban extended till February 10
According to the instructions of the Chief Secretary, other restrictions of epidemic alert like gyms and spa centers which are running with 50 percent capacity, will remain in place. Liquor shops will remain open till 10 pm. The rest of the earlier restrictions will remain in force till February 10.
Permission to open shopping malls and markets till 7 pm
The Haryana government on Wednesday extended the restrictions imposed under the Safe Haryana Pandemic Alert till February 10. But the timings for shopping malls and markets have been relaxed. According to the new order issued by Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal, shopping malls and markets have been allowed to open till 7 pm. No restriction has been imposed on the shops which are selling essential commodities. Earlier malls and markets were allowed to operate till 6 pm.
Gym and spa centers running with 50 percent capacity
According to the instructions of the Chief Secretary, other restrictions in the pandemic alert such as gyms and spa centers which are running with 50 percent capacity, will run the same. Liquor shops will remain open till 10 pm. This ban will remain in force till February 10.
A spokesman of the district administration said that timings have been relaxed for malls and markets. But the visitors should follow all the covid protocols as well as social distancing. He said, "The time has been relaxed for the convenience of the people but they should strictly follow the Covid protocol to prevent the spread of infection."
