The Delhi government's budget will not be presented in the assembly on Tuesday. This is because the Union Home Ministry is yet to give its approval to the budget proposal. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding this. In the letter, Kejriwal appealed to PM Modi not to stop the Delhi budget.

"Why are you angry with Delhiites?"

CM Kejriwal said in his letter to the Prime Minister, "For the first time in the country's 75-year history, the budget of a state has been stopped. Why are you angry with us Delhiites? Please don't stop the Delhi budget. Delhiites are praying to you with folded hands." Pass our budget.

Center is resorting to 'hooliganism'- Kejriwal

Earlier on Monday, CM Kejriwal had said that the Center is resorting to 'hooliganism' and this is the first time in the history of the country that the budget of a government has been put on hold.

Provision of huge amount of advertisement

According to Delhi government sources, the Union Home Ministry has stalled the budget and it will not be presented in the assembly on Tuesday. On the other hand, highly placed sources of the Ministry of Home Affairs say that in the budget of the Delhi government, a provision of a huge amount has been made for advertisement. In comparison, there is not much emphasis on infrastructure. The reason for this was asked by the Delhi government, but the answer has not been received yet. Because of this, the budget proposal could not be approved.

Good work is being done in Delhi despite obstacles - CM Kejriwal

Despite all the hurdles, he further said that the per capita income of Delhi has increased by 14.18%, but very good work is being done in the national capital. Imagine if such hindrances do not arise and all the governments work together for the welfare of the people, then the development work in Delhi will increase manifold.

Let us tell you that in the Economic Survey placed by Finance Minister Kailash Gehlot in the Vidhan Sabha on Monday, it has been told that the per capita income of Delhi will increase by 14.18 percent in 2022-23 at current prices compared to Rs 3,89,529 in 2021-22. 44,768 has become Rs.
