Health Minister Anil Vij has expressed concern over the lack of oxygen in Haryana. They have said that we are being forced to give our oxygen to Delhi. We will first meet our needs, after that, it will be given to someone else. He alleged that one of our two oxygen tankers going to Faridabad was looted by the Delhi government. After this, we have now decided to provide police protection to all oxygen tankers.

At the same time, Remedesvir will not be available without an Aadhaar card in Haryana. The government has taken this decision to stop its black marketing. Health Minister Anil Vij has given orders in this regard to the officers of the Drug Department. Officers of the Department of Drug Control have been deployed at the Ambala godown in Remedesivir. At the time of Covid, a complete record of Remedesivir and other medicines going to the chemist will be maintained throughout the state. Remedesivir's main warehouse is in Ambala itself.

Oxygen outlets not made in civil hospitals despite budget approved

In October 2020, the Haryana government released a budget of Rs 14 crore to set up oxygen outlets in civil hospitals in every district. Funds were also released to the PWD and the electricity department, but both departments have so far failed to set up oxygen outlets. Some of Haryana's oxygen producers also supply to Punjab, Rajasthan, and Delhi, so the entire stock is not available to the state. Health Minister Anil Vij said that oxygen would be provided to every needy at the time of disaster. The government has thousands of oxygen cylinders of every grade available.
