India may get the fourth corona vaccine to fight against the coronavirus in the country. Pfizer, the world's most effective vaccine maker, is in touch with India. Many experts have found this vaccine to be most effective against corona infection. This vaccine showed efficacy in all its trials against corona infection from 92 percent to 95 percent. The vaccine is named BNT162b2, which has also been included in the list of effective and safe corona vaccines by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The graph of people getting infected with the Coronavirus in India is constantly going up. The death toll is also increasing rapidly. Things have gone out of control. In such a situation, the Indian government is considering vaccination as the biggest way to deal with corona. Covishield and covaxin are currently available in India. Russia's Sputnik V has been granted emergency approval. From May 1, vaccination has started for those above 18 years of age.

The condition laid before coming to India

Even before its arrival in India, Pfizer Company has placed a condition. Pfizer has said that it will give its Covid-19 vaccine only through government contracts. This means that this vaccine may not be found in private hospitals in the country unless the government gives these vaccines to private institutions.

Pfizer made this decision at a time when India has made changes in its Covid vaccination strategy one after the other. It has given this option to companies that they can sell their vaccines to states or even private hospitals at slightly higher prices. A Pfizer spokesperson said that the company would provide vaccines in India, but in this phase of the epidemic, it would prioritize government vaccination programs.
