By defeating Delhi, Mumbai has directly qualified for the playoffs. However, both teams still have one match each left in the group stage. Delhi Capitals will face Punjab Kings on May 24 (Saturday), while Mumbai Indians will face Punjab Kings on May 26 (Monday). Both these matches will be played in Jaipur.

Chasing the target, Delhi was disappointed by its batsmen. Sameer Rizvi scored the highest 39 runs for them. Apart from this, only three batsmen were able to touch the double-digit mark. At the same time, Mustafizur Rahman could not even open the account, while Dushmantha Chameera remained unbeaten after scoring eight runs.
