JEE Main Result 2023: All India topper will be decided by age and application number in JEE Main result, know tie policy

This year there will be only one student on the All India Rank in the result because in case of a tie in the NTA score of two students, such criteria have been set that more than one student can't get All India Rank-1. Remind that there were 18 students on All India Rank-1 in JEE Main 2021 result.

 

JEE Mains: Many students have a perfect score of 300 out of 300

Career counselor and JEE Main expert Amit Ahuja told that some students are getting a perfect score of 300 out of 300 marks in JEE Main January Attempt. Similarly, in the April session also there may be some students who have 300 out of 300 marks. The ascending order of age and JEE Main application number of these students will be the final criteria for deriving the All India Rank of these students.

 

JEE Mains Result Topper with 300 marks as well as 100 percentile

In such a situation, the top All India Rank of those students who have scored 300 marks as well as the 100 percentile will be issued based on age and JEE Main application number. In such a situation, the possibility becomes minimum that the application number along with the age of the two students is the same.

 

JEE MAINS AIR Toppers List Criteria for determining AIR after a tie in NTA scores

 

Amit Ahuja told that for the first time this year, nine criteria have been set for determining the rank in case of a tie in higher NTA scores of students-

 

If the total NTA scores of two students are equal, then the NTA score of Mathematics will be considered first in determining the All India Rank.

 

In case of a tie, the score Physics will be given priority.

 

After this, the NTA score of Chemistry will be considered.

 

Despite this, if the situation remains the same, then the ratio of the number of correct and incorrect answers will be seen.

 

In case of a tie, the ratio of the number of correct and incorrect answers in subject-wise Mathematics will be seen.

 

Here also, in case of a tie, the ratio of the number of correct and incorrect answers in Physics will be considered.

 

In case of a tie, the ratio of the number of correct and incorrect answers in Chemistry will be seen.

 

In the event of a tie in all the above criteria, the student who is older will be given priority in the All India Rank.

 

If there is a tie even at the level of age criteria, then the priority will be given to the ascending order of the application number.
