As soon as people came to know about the murder of Vinod Kumar Singh's two sons Ayush and Ahaan in the Baba Colony of Civil Lines police station area, they reached the spot. But when people came to know that the perpetrators of the crime were hairdressers Sajid and Javed, they became angry.
Within minutes the atmosphere became communal. It seemed as if this fire of communalism would spread throughout the city within a short time. The district officials realized this.
Police force deployed at night
ADG and IG sitting in Bareilly were given cognizance of the incident. After this, ADG and IG immediately made arrangements for the police force. Police forces were called to the city from almost all the police stations of the district. Even the police from Bareilly had reached Badaun. Two CO-level officers were also called to Badaun.
Four company PACs were called. Police forces were deployed in all the areas in the night itself. The miscreants were gathered, pacified, and sent home. Some people were roaming in the city shouting slogans, and the police also slowly explained to them.
As soon as the information came at ten o'clock in the night, the accused Sajid was killed in an encounter. After this, the people present with the mischievous elements themselves went home. But some people continued to deceive the children's relatives for a long time. The police have identified all such people.
Police preparing for trial
Now preparations have started to file a case against those accused of arson, stone pelting, and sabotage. For this, people are also being identified through CCTV footage and videos made at the spot.
