He further said, "Our country is India and we have to stop using the word India in all practical areas and start using the word Bharat, only then the change will come. We have to call our country India and explain the same to others."

A few days ago, BJP's Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal also demanded the use of the word Bharat by removing the word India from the Constitution. Speculations are also rife that in the upcoming special session of the Parliament, the central government may bring a bill to remove the word 'India' from the Constitution. Sources claimed that preparations for the proposal related to this are ongoing.
