Once again a demand has been raised in the country to remove the word India from the Indian Constitution. BJP MP Harnath Singh Yadav has opposed the word India written in the Indian Constitution.

The name of the country has been India for centuries: Mohan Bhagwat

It is worth noting that a few days ago while addressing the program, the RSS chief had appealed to the countrymen to use the name Bharat instead of India. He had said, "The name of this country has been Bharat for centuries, not India. Therefore, we should use its old name." Only the name should be used.

Mohan Bhagwat further said, "The name of our country has been Bharat for centuries. Whatever may be the language, the name remains the same."

He further said, "Our country is India and we have to stop using the word India in all practical areas and start using the word Bharat, only then the change will come. We have to call our country India and explain the same to others."

The word India is a symbol of colonial slavery: Naresh Bansal

A few days ago, BJP's Rajya Sabha member Naresh Bansal also demanded the use of the word Bharat by removing the word India from the Constitution. He that the word India is a symbol of colonial slavery. On July 25, at the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting, Prime Minister Modi targeted the opposition alliance INDIA, saying that the East India Company and the Indian National Congress were formed by the British.

Speculations are also rife that in the upcoming special session of the Parliament, the central government may bring a bill to remove the word 'India' from the Constitution. Sources claimed that preparations for the proposal related to this are ongoing.
