Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will appear before the Enforcement Directorate today for questioning. Soren, who went 'missing' after the ED raid at his Delhi residence on Monday, reached Ranchi on Tuesday after about 40 hours and met his MLAs. Amidst all the drama in the politics of Jharkhand, BJP leader Nishikant Dubey has said that Hemant Soren can install his wife Kalpana Soren as the CM in the event of his arrest.

 

It is noteworthy that even before this, during the summons of ED, Hemant Soren had rejected the rumors in which there were talks of giving Kalpana the post of CM in Jharkhand. BJP had even then speculated that Hemant Soren could follow the path of Lalu Yadav in Bihar and make his wife the Chief Minister like Rabri Devi. After his arrest in Bihar in 1996, Lalu handed over the post of CM to his wife Rabri Devi.
