Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor's film 'Devara: Part 1' is going to be released soon. The film will hit the theatres on September 27. This is the reason why the film is being promoted vigorously these days. In this episode, the producers organized a pre-release event in Hyderabad yesterday (September 22), but unfortunately, they had to cancel the event.

The producers of the film have also clarified the sudden cancellation of the event through a post on social media. They wrote in the post, "We were eagerly waiting for this day because we have worked hard on this film for years. We wanted to celebrate it on a large scale, especially because this is the first solo release of our beloved Man of Masses NTR after six years."

The note further read, “The pre-release event was scheduled very close to Ganesha Nimarjanam and such large-scale events usually require at least a week of preparation. Also, the heavy rains have posed several challenges in the last few days. Even though it did not rain today, even if we had planned it, the conditions would not have been conducive for an outdoor event. Despite our best efforts, the huge crowd of fans went out of control and the barricades broke. For the safety of all, we had to take the tough decision to cancel the event.”

The makers apologized for disappointing the fans who came from different parts of the state and said, “We understand that many of you travel from different parts of the country to see your hero. We hope everyone is safe and has returned home safely. We apologize from the bottom of our hearts for the inconvenience and are truly sorry for such a situation. Thank you for your understanding and support. Team Devra."

It is worth noting that Jr NTR was advised to leave the venue for his safety as the crowd had exceeded capacity. Directed by Koratala Siva, 'Devra: Part 1' will see Saif Ali Khan in a negative role. The film will also feature Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and others in pivotal roles.
