Israel-Iran War: If there is a war then India can suffer huge losses, these three things will be directly affected

Posted on 5th Oct 2024 10:31 am by rohit kumar

Iran has declared that it will not back down in the war with Israel. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that Israel will be attacked again if needed.

He justified the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, saying everyone has the right to protect their land. Khamenei, citing verses from the Quran, called on Muslims to unite. The Supreme Leader said that Iran will continue to support Hezbollah and Hamas.

What will be the impact of the Iran-Israel war on India?

It is feared that a war may break out between Israel and Iran as well. If this happens, its bad effect can be seen in the Middle East and India. The trade relationship between India and Iran is ancient. India exports Basmati rice and tea leaves to Iran on a large scale.

According to government figures, India exported basmati rice worth $680 million to Iran in 2023-24. India exports 19 percent of the total basmati rice produced here to Iran. If a war breaks out between Iran and Israel, it will have a direct impact on rice exports.

At the same time, tea worth $32 million was exported to Iran in the year 2023-24. At the same time, India imports sunflower oil from Iran. If tensions between Israel and Iran increase, sunflower oil may become expensive in the country.

Israeli military action continues in Lebanon.

Let us tell you that air strikes are continuing in Lebanon by the Israeli army, the Lebanese Health Ministry said that in the last 24 hours, the death toll in Israeli air strikes on various areas of Lebanon has risen to 37, while the number of injured is 151.

On the midnight of October 7 last year, Hamas carried out terrorist attacks on Israel. After this, Israel opened a front against Hamas. Currently, Israel is engaged in eliminating Hamas as well as Hezbollah.

Israel-Iran tension has increased.

Meanwhile, Iran openly stands with Hamas and Hezbollah. On Tuesday night, Iran attacked Israel with 181 ballistic missiles in about 25 minutes. In response to this, Israel has vowed to take action. Israel says that Iran will have to pay a heavy price.
