Sikh for Justice, a banned organization in India, is going to conduct the 'Khalistan Referendum' in Ontario, Canada on 6 November. People participating in this will be asked whether they want a new Khalistan country apart from India.
India has lodged a protest with the Canadian government on this. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that we have raised this issue with the Canadian Embassy in Delhi and also with the officials in Canada.
In the last 2 years, voices have been heard many times in Punjab in support of India and Khalistan. Supporters of Khalistan are putting up their posters, banners, and slogans in government offices, schools, and temples. Posters of terrorist organizations Babbar Khalsa and Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale are being waved in rallies, road shows, and meetings.
When Bhaskar investigated it, he found that more than 100 such cases have been reported in Punjab since 2020. Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI is the brain behind this whole game. With the funding of the same, Khalistan supporters are getting stronger in Germany and America after Canada.
Pakistan's focus on Punjab as there is strictness in Kashmir
An official of the Central Investigation Agency said that during the last two years, terror groups backed by Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI have strengthened in Punjab. These include the Khalistan Commando Force, Bhindranwale Commando Force of Khalistan, Khalistan Liberation Force, Sikh for Justice, and Khalistan Liberation Army.
These organizations are getting funding from the UK, Canada, and Germany. Pakistan and China provide them with logistic support. This includes weapons and drugs. There have been cases of sending arms and drugs from Pakistan through drones in Punjab.
About 1150 kg of drugs were seized on the Punjab border in 3 years
Drone centers have been set up at 6 places with the help of Pakistani Rangers and ISI on the border with Punjab. In Punjab this year so far more than 170 drone activity has been traced along the border. BSF shot down the drone 9 times. BSF has seized about 1150 kg of drugs on the Punjab border in 3 years.
Terrorists are being killed due to frequent encounters in Jammu and Kashmir. Because of this ISI has shifted its focus toward Punjab. However, instead of forming an organization, she is supporting the already existing criminal gangs and mafia in Punjab.
Gurpatwant Singh Pannu is the biggest face of the Khalistan Movement
Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the chief of the Sikh for Justice organization, is running the Khalistan Movement sitting in Canada. He lures the youth in India to do wrong things. He had promised one lakh dollars (80 lakh rupees) for hoisting Khalistani flags in PM Modi's rally before the Punjab elections.

NIA raids Punjab to break Nexus
The NIA on Tuesday conducted raids in Punjab to break the nexus of terrorists, smugglers, and gangsters. In Punjab, action was also taken on the locations of people associated with many gangs including Lawrence Bishnoi, and Neeraj Bawana. The NIA team also reached the house of gangster Sukhpreet Budha and some of his close friends in Manuka Gill village of Moga. The information about what was found in this raid has not been revealed.
ISI funding 55 anti-India groups
A 2021 report by the American think tank Hudson Institute claimed that the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI was funding 55 Khalistani and Kashmiri separatist groups. In return, these organizations are preparing the anti-India ground in America. The Taliban is also helping in this work.
Last year, some Sikh separatist groups offered one million dollars (Rs 80 crore) in aid to the Taliban. Pakistan is conspiring to spread instability in Punjab. Khalistani organizations may come out with a new name.
According to the report, American agencies are also aware of this. The government there did not pay attention to the violence of the Khalistanis. The most staunch supporters of the Khalistan Movement are in Western countries like Britain, Canada, and America.
Khalistan Movement shifting from Canada to Germany
A dossier prepared by security agencies has claimed that the Khalistan movement is now shifting from Canada to Germany. In January, the NIA claimed that 9 big Khalistani members were active in Germany to spread terror in Punjab. One of these gangsters Gurmeet Singh Bagga was arrested in Germany at the behest of India.
Bagga was associated with Sikhs for Justice and is an accused in the Ludhiana court blasts. He was planning attacks in Delhi and Mumbai. Interpol has issued a red corner notice against Bhupinder Singh Bhinda, Shaminder Singh, and Harjot Singh, who are active in Germany. Gurmeet Singh Bagga also sent 532 kg heroin worth Rs 2,700 crore, caught at the Attari border in the year 2020.
According to the report, Khalistani terrorists sitting in Germany had planned a major attack on India on 26 January 2022, but they could not do so. Jaswinder Singh Multani, the mastermind of the blast in Ludhiana court, was also arrested in Germany in December 2021. After his arrest, the investigative agencies came to know that a large base of Khalistan supporters has been prepared in Germany. Gangsters present in India keep in touch with him.
