National Voters Day: 'Your vote will decide what will be the direction of India', PM Modi's message to young voters

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed young voters on National Voters' Day on Thursday. During this, he said that this was the first opportunity in my life to communicate with so many youth and perhaps this is the first opportunity for any politician in the world. He congratulated all the new voters who participated in the dialogue.

 

PM Modi said, "The age of 18 to 25 years is such when one's life becomes witness to many changes. Amidst these changes, you all have to fulfill another responsibility simultaneously. This responsibility is the biggest in the world. Have participated in democracy."

 

 

The PM said, "This period is very important for two reasons. First, all of you have become voters at a time when India's Amrit Kaal has begun. Second, tomorrow January 26, the country will celebrate its 75th Republic Day. The next 25 years will be yours. It is important both for us and for India."

 

The Prime Minister said, "Today when the country is working towards the goal of becoming a developed India by 2047, your vote will decide what will be the direction of India. Just as 25 years before 1947, the responsibility of liberating the country was on the youth of India. Similarly, you have the responsibility of building a developed India by 2047 i.e. in 25 years."
