The political atmosphere is heated regarding the Sandeshkhali violence. The ruling party and the opposition are continuously accusing each other in this matter. Meanwhile, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari left for the violence-hit area. Five other party leaders are also included with him. Amidst all this, it is being told that BJP leaders and other party MLAs have been stopped by the police from going to Sandeshkhali. In protest against this, Suvendu has started protesting there. Let us tell you that yesterday the Calcutta High Court had permitted him to go to Sandeshkhali.
Before leaving for Sandeshkhali, Suvendu spoke to the media. During this, he said that yesterday the hearing lasted the whole day. All suggestions were discussed. After the court order, we left from there. Hopefully, we don't have to go to court for the third time. One or two senior officers called me and asked me to come to Sandeshkhali after 11 o'clock.

In a message issued from the Raj Bhavan on Monday, the Governor said, "I appeal to the law-abiding citizens, leaders, and all political parties to unite in the peace march at Sandeshkhali. He said that he is aware of the steps being taken by the state government to deal with the law and order situation in Sandeshkhali.
