Jawans of the 8th Battalion of NDRF, who reached Turkey after the earthquake, saved many lives through their courageous actions. An NDRF team returned to India on Friday after running Operation Dost successfully for about 10 days. The first C-17 Globemaster aircraft of NDRF personnel reached Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad at 9:00 am.

An Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft with over 50 NDRF personnel left for Turkey carrying relief material. This included specially trained dog squads along with necessary equipment, medical supplies, drilling machines, and other essential items.
