He said the money would "allow aid organizations to rapidly scale up critical support", including in the areas of food security, security, education, water, and shelter.
Officials and doctors said that 38,044 people in Turkey and 3,688 in Syria were killed by the February 6 earthquake, bringing the total number of dead to 41,732.

According to the news agency ANI, India has sent 841 cartons of medicines, safety equipment, and diagnostics to Turkey and Syria under this operation.
