NEET, UGC Exam Row: Suggestions will be taken from students and parents to prevent malpractices in the exam; The Former ISRO chief formed a committee

Not only the high-level committee but now students and parents will also suggest what kind of improvements should be made in the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to prevent irregularities related to examinations. The seven-member committee formed to improve the NTA, headed by former ISRO chairman Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, held its first meeting on Monday. During this, there was a long discussion on the points suggested by the Ministry of Education for improvement.

 

The committee will give many suggestions to improve the NTA

The committee also decided that it would also take the opinion of students and parents on issues related to improvement in examinations. The process will be started soon. Meanwhile, the high-level committee formed to improve the NTA has also made a plan to work fast on this matter. In this, emphasis has been laid on holding meetings continuously and regular participation of members.

 

The committee will submit the report within two months

This committee formed by the Ministry of Education has been asked to submit its report within two months. The main topics discussed by the committee on Monday included the structure of NTA, its functioning, the process of conducting examinations, transparency and security, etc. Meanwhile, the committee has just studied the current structure and functioning of NTA. It is believed that the points of improvement will be decided on this basis.

 

At the same time, suggestions will also be taken from students and parents on every point related to improvement. All the members including former director of AIIMS Delhi, Dr. Randeep Guleria, and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Govind Jaiswal, were present in the meeting chaired by Dr. K Radhakrishnan, Chairman of the committee formed for improvement in NTA.
